Star Wars IV: A New Hope homework

When Luke Skywalker returns home to see that the evil galaxy-spanning empire visited his planet and killed his family, he embarks on a quest to join the Rebel Alliance and end the tyranny that has kept a tight grip on the galaxy.

I have seen this film.
The main cast of the film includes Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Alec Guinness, and Carrie Fisher. The film was directed by George Lucas, and produced by Gary Kurtz.

Star Wars IV: A New Hope did not play through the film festival circuit.

The marketing for the movie was rather well done, as it went through several fronts, the most important of which was the preview for the film being shown at the San Diego Comic-Con which helped attract a large amount of science fiction fans to the film. Another important move they made during distribution of the film was forcing theaters to screen this film if they wanted to screen 'The Other Side of Midnight' a film that people were expecting to be very successful.
